Leslie & Baggott's ethos is to source stock items fresh from private houses across Scotland and beyond, some offered 'as found' while others are put into fine showroom condition.
Miranda Leslie FGA
Miranda's first love is jewellery. She started her career learning to value jewellery in 1988 and went on to have a career in the field of Fine Jewellery. When she and Henry decided to leave the auction world and launch Leslie and Baggott in 2017 she was excited to have the time to enjoy her other passions which include ceramics (preferably 18th Century), glass and interior design. But nothing will ever change the fact that finding the perfect piece of jewellery for a client whether as the result of a specific brief or being able to suggest just the right thing for a particular occasion, will always be her favourite moment.
Henry Baggott
Henry is a second-generation antique dealer from Stow on the Wold, having dealt in books and maps for many years he now finds his main passion to be furniture and decorative furnishings, both traditional and modern. Henry worked with Miranda at Bonhams in Edinburgh for a number of years and it was there that they founded their working relationship. He loves nothing more than looking for new stock and travels the country on the hunt for the interesting and unusual.
